Pool Membership

There are two types of membership: Resident Members and Non Resident Members.

Village of Winding Trails
If you live in the "Village of Winding Trails" you are a Resident Member. There are some lots in "Winding Trails" that are also Resident Members - they are listed below. Membership resides with the property and transfers with the property. When you sell your home, the new homeowners are automatically members. When the keys are handed off at the closing they should include the pool key. If the annual assessment is not paid a lien is placed on the property.

Winding Trails
"Winding Trails" is a totally distinct large subdivision with sections having their own name, for example, "The Manors at Winding Trails". If you live in "Winding Trails", and are not already a member, you may apply for membership as a Non Resident Member. With the exception of three lots in the "Winding Trails" subdivision and "The Woodlands" section of "Winding Trails", membership does not transfer with the property, nor can a lien be placed on the property. It has been the custom of the trustees of the "Village of Winding Trails" to permit Non Resident Members to let a new homeowner become a Non Resident Member provided that the Non Resident Member is a member in good standing. The seller should turn in their key to Tammy Dietrich and they will be issued a $50 check. The new homeowner should obtain and submit an application within 30 days of the closing along with a $50 check for their key. Failure to apply within 30 days will require the new homeowner to pay the full "new member" application fee. No assurance can be made that this custom will continue. In other words, when you sell your home the sale does not automatically include membership in the "Village of Winding Trails Bath & Tennis Club". Non payment of the annual assessment automatically cancels your membership and a new application and fee are required to rejoin.
