SPRING 2011 NEWSLETTER
KICK OFF THE SUMMER WITH A PARTY AT THE POOL:
Come join the fun Saturday, June 4, 4pm. Pulled pork sandwiches, beer, and soda will be provided by the subdivision. Those with the last names A-L please bring side dish to share and M-Z please brings dessert. Please contact Tammy Dietrich at tammy@windingtrails.us or call 1-636-209-4073 if you would like to help in anyway. Thank you in advance for your support!
POOL PARTIES RULES: If you wish to have an event (birthday party, etc.) at the pool, contact Tammy Dietrich 1-636-209-4073 or tammy@windingtrails.us letting her know the type of event and the number of adults & children. The maximum number, subject to change, is 25. Your date and time must be reserved so your event won't conflict with another event or overload the pool and compromise pool safety. The event will be placed on the pool calendar located in the guard's office, if your event is not on the calendar this means the event was not reserved and you and your party may be asked to leave. There may be restrictions on day and time. For example, there should be no problem during the week after 4:00 but afternoons on Saturday and Sunday may be a problem depending upon the number in your party. Please have your event confirmed well in advance. Commercial Events are never allowed and Personal Events must be approved by the Trustees who reserve the right to deny an Event.
IMPORTANT*****POOL RULE
In accordance with our insurance policy and county regulations, children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult of 18 years or older when visiting the pool. If you are considering sending your children to the pool with a caregiver, please make sure they are at least 18 years old & bring photo i.d. with them.
Opening Day & Pool Hours : The pool will open on Friday, May 27 from 4pm-10pm. Open daily from 11am to 9pm except Fridays, open until 10pm.
Trustee Elections: Congratulations to George Fiviet on his election as our new Trustee.
Budget 2011- For the Village: Regular subdivision expenses were discussed and approved at the annual meeting with no increase to the annual dues of $110. Bath & Tennis budget was proposed and approved with no increase to annual assessment of $275. For details on the annual budget refer to the website at www.windingtrails.us.
No pool clean up day. Lifeguards Unlimited did a good job at getting the pool ready for us last year.
Architectural Review: Please remember that ALL Structural Changes to the outside of your home must be approved by the architectural committee. Architectural changes/requests need 15 days notice and approval before beginning.
These include replacing tie walls, dramatic color changes to the outside of the home and/or roof and fencing additions. Another important point is to keep your trees trimmed near the sidewalks for both pedestrian and road traffic. Further details can be obtained from the Architectural Guidelines available online at our website.
Wildwood and subdivision ordinances: Please remember all waste/recycle/trash containers should be kept in your garage or behind your house and not be visible from the street. Please be a good neighbor and clean up after your dog. When you walk your dog, bag the waste and take it home. Do not leave it on the ground (in the common ground, pool area or anywhere!) and do not throw it down the storm drain. Parking of automobiles on the street more than 24 hours is prohibited & you can be fined.
Communication: is a key to keeping our neighborhood friendly, safe and a desirable place to live (and easy to sell when you're ready). We encourage neighbors to make the police aware when they see suspicious activity at the pool or anywhere in the neighborhood. Wildwood precinct's number is 458-9194. Try to read the notices we send so you are informed and prepared. If you have not given us your email address or if it has changed, please send it to richard@windingtrails.us. It will be kept confidential. If you have any problems receiving emails, call our website volunteer, Richard Baricko at 458-4576. If you don't have email access, information can be obtained by contacting one of the trustees. Thank you for your support.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
On behalf of the entire neighborhood, the trustees would like to thank all the residents & pool members who pitch in to make our community fun, safe and well-maintained. So many people volunteer behind the scenes, so here are just a few we would like to mention: Richard Baricko for our website; Sharon Hutson for the phone directory; Jenny Reed, Vicki Marks & Sheila Richards for entrance decorations; Jenny Reed for hosting the Cookie Exchange; The Pfarrs, The Hashbargers and The Ehrenireichs, for hosting the Holiday Progressive Party; and Suzanne Golden for managing the Luminaries. We apologize if anyone was forgotten, your help is so greatly appreciated!
